Gnanam Matric Hr Sec School is located right on the Cuttack Puri Main Road at Plot No. 841 in Rasulgarh. Since we are on a main road here in Bhubaneshwar, it can get quite loud with all the buses and cars going past. We’ve put up some good curtains and tried to keep the noise out as much as possible. It is a higher secondary school, so we have students who are getting ready for their big final years. The building is a solid block and we’ve used every bit of the plot we have. We spend a lot of time in the office dealing with registrations and all the paperwork that comes with being a matriculation school. It isn't always exciting, but it has to be done. Our staff is a mix of people who have been here for years and some newer faces. We all just pitch in where we are needed. Sometimes that means staying late to fix a light or helping a student who is struggling with a certain chapter. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just open the gates in the morning and close them at night after the work is done. The community in Rasulgarh knows us as a place where you just go to study. We keep the place clean, we keep the rules, and we keep moving forward day by day. The tea stall next door is where most of us go during breaks.
