You’ll find Gnana Deepam Matriculation School over in Bapuji Nagar at Unit 1. It’s a decent sized place and we’ve been here in Bhubaneshwar for a good while. Running a school like this takes up all our time, from the early mornings until well after the sun goes down. We handle everything ourselves, from fixing the desks to making sure the books are all accounted for. The hallways are usually full of posters that the kids made. It isn't a very quiet environment, especially when the bell rings for lunch. We have a small staff and we all wear many hats. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words or shiny offices. We just want the kids to have a solid place to come and study. The building has some age to it, but it’s sturdy. We spend a lot of time on the little details, like making sure the water coolers are full and the fans are working in the heat. It’s just normal daily work for us. We’ve seen many groups of students finish their time here and move on. It makes the long days feel like they’re worth the effort. The front door sticks a little when it rains.
