Gayatri Hotel

Gayatri Hotel is located at A/30 in Unit 3, which is right near Keshri Talkies in Kharvel Nagar. It’s a pretty central spot so we get a lot of people passing through who are in town for work or just visiting. The building has been here for quite some time and it has that old look to it that you don't see much with the newer places. We have a few rooms and a place to sit and eat. It’s nothing like those big luxury hotels you see in the magazines. We keep things simple because that’s what we know. The lobby area is small and usually has a stack of newspapers on the table for guests to read. We’ve got a couple of guys who have worked here for years and they know the regulars by name. The noise from the talkies nearby can be heard sometimes when a big movie is playing but usually it’s not too bad. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the linens are washed. It’s a lot of physical work and my back usually aches by the time I sit down in the evening. We don’t have a website or a fancy booking system, people usually just call us up or walk in off the street. It’s been working out for us so far and we don't plan on changing much about how we operate.
