The Ramco Cements Ltd.

The Ramco Cements Ltd. is over at No. 555 Vivekananda Marg Near Ramakrishna Mission Old Town. It is a solid spot in a part of town that feels a bit older and quieter than the new districts. We spend our days surrounded by bags of cement and the sound of trucks coming in to unload. The building is right near the Ramakrishna Mission, so we get a lot of people walking by on their way there. It is a straightforward operation here. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in the office. It is mostly just stacks of paperwork, some old wooden chairs, and the smell of the warehouse. The staff has been around for a long time, and we all know the drill. When the sun hits the street in the afternoon, it gets pretty warm, but we just keep the shutters open. We handle a lot of orders for local builders and people fixing up their own places in Old Town. It is steady work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during a break and watch the traffic go by on Vivekananda Marg. The place isn't perfect, the paint is peeling in some corners and the floor is stained from years of moving heavy loads, but it is where we do our business every day.
