Visteon Software Operation

The office is over at 123/124 in the Ispahani Centre. If you know Nungambakkam, you know how it gets around here with the crowds and the cars. It is a lot of computers and people staring at screens most of the day. We do software stuff. It is not exactly exciting to look at from the outside. People come in, sit down, and start typing away. We have been in this building for a bit now. The air conditioning is usually running too high, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even when it is hot outside. It is a lot of code and fixing bugs that pop up out of nowhere. Sometimes things work on the first try, but usually they do not. That is just how software goes. We eat lunch at our desks more often than we probably should. The building itself is okay, but finding parking can be a real headache some days. We are not doing anything flashy here. It is just a lot of logical thinking and trying to get the programs to do what they are supposed to do for the users. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up fast. The cleaning crew usually comes by late in the evening and that is when we realize we should go home. It is quiet for the most part, except for the sound of keyboards clicking all day.
