Our office is located at B-72 in Alkapuri. One thing you’ll notice right away is that we are near the Habibganj Railway Crossing. You can hear the trains passing by throughout the day, and sometimes the whole building vibrates just a little bit when a heavy freight train goes through. It’s something you get used to after a week or two. Alkapuri is a decent area, but being so close to the crossing means we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the gates to open if we’re coming or going. The building itself is an older one. We’ve got the B-72 unit on the ground floor, which makes it easy to move equipment in and out. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of cables running along the floor. We aren't big on decorations, so the walls are mostly bare except for some technical charts. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except for the trains. We handle our daily tasks without much fuss. If you’re looking for us, just listen for the train whistle and you’ll know you’re in the right neighborhood. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just a small one by the door. It’s a practical spot that serves us well for the work we do.
