You can find us in Bhopal at House Number M-29 in the Vinay Grah Nirman area of Bawadiya Kalan. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels very quiet and domestic. We use part of the house as our office for the biosciences work we do. It might sound like a high-tech thing, but our day-to-day is actually quite ordinary. We have a couple of rooms set up with basic equipment and lots of glass jars and folders. Most of the time, we are just sitting at our desks writing reports or looking at data on our screens. The street outside is lined with trees and you can hear birds in the morning, which is a nice change from the busier parts of Bhopal. We have a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day to keep us going. Our team is small, just a few people who live nearby and come in to help with the research and admin stuff. We do not have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you knock on the door, one of us will just come and let you in. It is a relaxed atmosphere and we do not really worry about formal dress codes or anything. We just focus on the science and making sure our records are kept straight. It is a good place to work because it is peaceful and we can actually get things done without being bothered by the city noise.
