Navjan Agro India Pvt. Ltd. operates out of C 92 Bda Colony in Shahpura. It is a bit quieter here than the main markets since we are tucked away in the colony. The office is basically just a few rooms where we handle the logistics and the accounts. You can usually find a few of us hunched over the desks talking on the phone to suppliers or checking on the truck drivers. Shahpura is a nice area, and being in a BDA Colony means it’s mostly residential around us. We try not to make too much noise, though sometimes the delivery bikes coming in and out can be a bit loud. The rooms are filled with files and a few computers that have seen better days. We don’t have a big storefront or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we manage the agro side of things. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the daily reports to come in from the fields. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just end up talking about the weather or the crop prices. It’s a regular job with regular people. We have a small porch where we sit for a few minutes in the evening before heading home. It’s not a grand corporate building, just C 92 where we do our daily work. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us.
