Srijan Education Academy

Srijan Education Academy is over at the Annapurna Complex on Kotra Road in Bhopal. We are right by the Post & Telegraph Square. It’s a well-known spot in the 462003 zip code. The complex itself is quite old and has that specific smell of old concrete and paper. We have a few rooms where the teaching happens. It’s nothing like those corporate offices you see in big cities. We have simple desks and some cupboards full of old textbooks. The windows look out toward the square, and you can see people rushing to work or catching the bus. We mostly deal with school and college subjects. It gets quite busy in the afternoons when the schools let out. Students come in, drop their heavy bags, and we get to work. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just show up and help with the syllabus. Sometimes we have to move the chairs around to make more space if a bigger group comes in. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, but it does the job. Bhopal can get quite hot, so the coolers are always running in the summer months. It’s a quiet life here at the academy. We just focus on the books and making sure everyone gets their work done before they go home. Some days are long, but that is just how the academic season goes.
