Sharda Vidya Mandir

Sharda Vidya Mandir is located on Bhadbhada Road here in Bhopal. Because it is a busy stretch of road, there is always a lot of movement outside our gates. The school has been part of this area for quite some time now. You can see the building clearly when you drive past. It is a solid structure, nothing too modern, but it does the job for the classes. Different sections house the students, and the corridors are usually full of noise between the periods. In the mornings, the sun hits the front of the building right when the buses start rolling in. Flashy advertisements aren't something we do. Most families around Bhadbhada Road know we are here just by walking or driving past every day. The playground gets a lot of use, and the grass is never quite as green as it could be because of all the running around. Inside, the classrooms are basic with wooden desks and blackboards. We spend our time making sure the schedule is followed and that the kids are where they are supposed to be. Keeping a place this size running smoothly is a lot of work, especially with the Bhopal heat in the summer months. Day after day, we just keep at it. It is a practical place for learning, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. We focus on the work that needs to get done before everyone goes home in the afternoon.
