Mittal Institute of Technology sits right on the Karond By Pass Road, just across from the Bhopal Memorial Hospital in the Nabi Bagh area. Most people in Karond know the spot because of how busy that road gets during the morning hours when everyone is headed to work or classes. We have been here for a while now, watching the area change quite a bit as more shops and houses went up around us. The campus itself is a decent size and we try to keep the grounds tidy, though the dust from the main road makes it a bit of a challenge sometimes. Inside the gates, things are usually humming with students moving between the different blocks for their lectures. It is a practical place, really. We have the usual labs and classrooms you would expect at a technical institute in Bhopal. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we are part of the local community. You will often see groups of students grabbing tea at the stalls just outside the gate during their breaks. It is not a fancy place with a lot of glass and chrome, but the buildings are solid and they serve their purpose well enough. We keep the schedules pretty tight so that everything runs on time, but there is still space for people to sit under the trees when the weather is nice. It is just a regular part of the Nabi Bagh neighborhood where people come to get their work done.
