Shree Govardhan Organic Farmer Producercompany Limited is right on Azad Marg in Ward Number 2 of Khategaon. Being in Dewas district, we are right in the middle of a lot of farming activity. Our office is on a street that gets quite busy during the day, which is good for us because people can find us easily. We focus on organic farming and helping the local producers get their stuff to market. It’s not a fancy operation. We have a few desks, a lot of files, and usually some samples of grain or seeds lying around. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers who are part of our group. They come in with their problems, and we try to find solutions that don't involve a lot of expensive chemicals. It’s a slow process sometimes, changing how things have been done for years, but we keep at it. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just explain things plainly to whoever asks. Some days are better than others, especially when the harvest is good. We’re just a local bunch trying to make a go of it. We live here, we work here, and we know the names of the people we deal with. It’s personal for us. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to get the job done right. It's just hard work and patience.
