Shivmahadev Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Gram Murawar, which is in the Jawar area of Ashta. We operate out of Ranjit Singh Bhawani's place. It's a quiet village setting in Sehore, and that suits us just fine. Being around the fields and the actual farming is important for what we do. We don't really use big words or have complicated systems. It's mostly about organizing the local farmers and making sure the organic side of things is handled properly. There's a lot of manual work involved and plenty of trips back and forth between the village and the town. The office is basically a room where we store our ledgers and talk to the members. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the people here are treated fairly. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the internet is slow, but that's just part of life in Murawar. We've got deep roots in this soil and we understand how things work locally. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the crops and the people who grow them. That's the way we've always done it here.
