Sha-Shib College Of Science & Management

Our college is located on Shahpur Road, near the Parvalia Thana. It sits right on the NH-12 Bhopal-Jaipur Road. Because we are near the highway, there is always the sound of trucks and buses passing by. It is a bit of a drive from the main part of Bhopal, but the bus stop is close. We have students coming for both science and management subjects. The building is spread out a bit. We have labs for the science work and regular rooms for the management lectures. It is a practical setup. We don't have manicured gardens or anything like that. It’s more of a functional campus in Madhya Pradesh. The staff room is usually a bit messy with books and tea cups. We spend our time trying to keep the lab equipment working and the classrooms clean. The weather out here near Parvalia Sadak can get quite dusty. We see a lot of students waiting for their transport at the end of the day. Sha-Shib College is just a spot on the map where people come to get their education done. We don't use fancy talk to describe what we do. We just open the gates, hold the classes, and manage the day-to-day tasks. It’s a plain and honest way to run a college. Sometimes the water cooler breaks down and we have to get it fixed quickly because of the heat. Most of us eat our lunch together and talk about how the road gets even noisier during the festival seasons.
