Sandesh Noodles

You can find us at Plot No. 225 in Lambakheda. We are pretty close to Red Rose School, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for the place. Sandesh Noodles is just a straightforward local spot. Making noodles takes up most of our day. The machines are usually running and there’s a lot of flour around. It’s a practical setup, nothing fancy to look at. We start early because that’s when the work gets done best. The area is okay, though the roads can be a bit dusty sometimes. We spend a lot of time packing and checking the batches. It’s hard work and the floor is always a bit messy by the end of the shift. We aren’t a giant factory, just a local unit making sure people get their supplies. Most of us have been working here a long time. We know the rhythm of the machines and how to fix them when they act up. It’s just how we earn our living. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the noise from the street. It’s a busy little corner of Lambakheda. We keep to ourselves mostly and focus on getting the crates loaded onto the trucks. It’s a simple life and a simple business, really. We just hope the electricity stays on so we can finish the daily quota of noodles.
