People usually find us here in Hanumanganj because of the smell of the frying oil in the morning. We open up pretty early when the market is just starting to wake up. Jumerati Bazar is a busy place, and it gets really loud once the sun is fully out. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. The kitchen is small, and it stays hot all day, especially in the summer months. We mostly just focus on making the dough and getting the puris right. There isn't much to say about the decor because it’s just a regular shop with some benches for people to sit on. You can see the tea stalls nearby and the carts moving through the lane. Most of our regulars are folks who work in the market or live just around the corner. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine by heart. Sometimes the crowd gets a bit much, especially on holidays, but we just keep frying and serving until the day ends. It’s a simple life here in Bhopal. The walls have some old tiles, and the fans are always running to keep the air moving. We don't do anything fancy with the food or the way the place looks. It is what it is, a spot to get a quick bite before you go back to your work in the bazaar.
