I’ve been running Dinesh Photography out of Gali No.2 for a while now. Most people around Roshan Bagh know the spot near 1088. It’s just a small place where I handle local stuff. Mostly it's families coming in for portraits or when there’s a small gathering nearby. I started doing this because I liked catching things as they happen, nothing too fancy. The light in the alleyway gets a bit tricky sometimes but you get used to it. I’ve lived around here most of my life so I know the faces that walk past the door. People just drop in when they need a quick snap for an ID or if they want something to remember a birthday. I don't use any of those big fancy studio lights all the time, just what works. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular door in the lane. Sometimes it gets busy on weekends when there’s a wedding in the community. I try to keep things simple. Dealing with the old cameras and then moving to digital was a big change but we managed. My desk is usually a bit of a mess with prints and cables everywhere. If you’re walking down Gali No.2, you’ll probably see me sitting out front or busy with some editing. It’s a quiet living but it keeps me connected to the neighbors. I just do the work and hope people like what they see on the paper when it's printed. It's just a regular neighborhood shop.
