About Tushar Yadav Photography – Photography in Bhopal
I spend most of my time moving between Balaghat and Barwani, carrying my cameras and gear around with me. Photography isn't just about clicking a button; it’s a lot of waiting for the right moment or the right light to show up. My bag is always heavy, and I’m constantly checking to make sure my batteries are charged up. Whether I'm at a local wedding or just out in the fields taking pictures of the landscape, it’s a lot of walking and standing. I don't have a big, fancy studio with lights and backdrops. Most of my work happens out in the world where people are just living their lives. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, and I end up waiting under a tree for the rain to stop. I've been doing this for a while now, and I've seen a lot of different faces through my lens. People in Balaghat and Barwani have been good to me, and I’ve gotten to know many families by taking their portraits over the years. It’s a bit of a messy job sometimes, and my car is usually full of tripods and old memory cards. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just take the photos that people ask for and try to capture things as they really look. It’s a decent way to spend my days.
