Our place is located at 231 2A in Saket Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Bhopal. The building is a bit older and has that typical residential-industrial mix you see around here. We have a small sign out front, but it is easy to miss if you are not looking for it. Inside, things are pretty basic with a few fans spinning overhead to keep the Bhopal heat away. There is a lot of space for our gear and the materials we use every day. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. The road outside is paved, but it gets dusty when the wind picks up from the open fields nearby. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea and coffee. It is not a place where people dress up in suits. We usually wear whatever is comfortable for the type of work we are doing. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep, which is good because we move a lot of things around. We have some neighbors who run other small workshops, so there is always a bit of chatter or the sound of a motorbike starting up nearby. It is a steady environment where we just focus on getting through the tasks of the day without much fuss. We like being in this part of Madhya Pradesh.
