Our business is Pal Rice & Flour Mills Private Limited, located in Gram Bajni. We are near the Durgapur post office in Datia. Ramdas Pal is the one who keeps everything moving around here. Like any mill, it’s a place of constant activity and a fair amount of noise. We deal with the local harvest, mostly rice and wheat, and turn it into flour. It is a dusty job, and by the end of the day, we are usually covered in it. We don't have any corporate polish or big-city attitudes. We are just a local mill serving our neighbors and the surrounding areas. The equipment is old but reliable, and we know exactly how to fix it when it grumbles. We spend our time weighing sacks, checking the grain quality, and making sure the grinders are sharp. It’s physical work that leaves you tired, but it’s satisfying to see the finished product piled up in the warehouse. We don't use fancy advertisements because everyone around here knows who we are and what we do. The building is a bit worn down, but it’s sturdy and serves its purpose. We take it one season at a time, working with the rhythm of the farmers. It’s an honest way to live, being right here in Gram Bajni and doing the work that’s been done for generations. We just have a few more machines to help us out. We keep it simple.
