Open Sky

We sit here at P-20 in Vardhman Green Park. It’s a quiet enough spot in Ashoka Garden. Usually, the mornings start slow. We unlock the door, get the lights on, and check what needs doing for the day. It’s not a big fancy place, just an office where we get through our tasks. People sometimes have trouble finding us at first because the park is a bit tucked away, but once you’ve been here, it makes sense. The walls are a plain color and we have a few desks set up. There is a window that looks out towards the street, and we see people walking by or kids playing when school is out. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no big reception area or anything like that. Just a few of us working away. Sometimes we have a tea break and talk about the news or the weather. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer months, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. Most days are about staying on top of the paperwork and making sure everything is where it should be. We’ve been at this address for a while now and we know the neighbors okay. It is just a regular local business life. Nothing too exciting happens, but we like the routine of coming in and doing what we do. It feels right being here in this part of town.
