Our place is located at 77 A in Scheme Number 91, right in the heart of the Anaj Mandi area here in Indore. Being in the market means things are always moving around us. We deal with farm produce, mostly fresh stuff that comes in from the local areas. It’s a straightforward operation. We spend most of our mornings unloading trucks and checking the quality of what we get. The air is always full of the smell of grain and vegetables because of the location. We are a private company, but it really feels more like a small family setup inside. There’s a lot of manual work involved, lifting crates and organizing the storage space. It can get dusty and loud with all the tractors and lorries passing by outside our door. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and people in the mandi know us by name. We don't use any high-tech systems, just pen and paper and hard work. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult for the crops, and that affects our day too. We just try to handle what comes our way as best as we can. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work. We are just part of the local food chain in Madhya Pradesh, making sure things get from the farm to the city market every day. It feels good to see the produce moving out to the shops. We hope to stay right here in Scheme 91 for many more years to come.
