Nam Institute Of Professional Studies

Our place is located in Arera Colony over in Bhopal. We are tucked away in the E 7 section, at 801. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet compared to the main roads. We focus on professional studies, which basically means helping people get ready for jobs. We have a few rooms set up for classes and some old computers. It’s not a giant university with a stadium. It’s just a local spot where people come to learn things like accounting or basic office skills. Abhishek Rajan is the one who runs things here. We spend a lot of time looking at textbooks and trying to explain difficult concepts to students who might be struggling. Sometimes we stay late to help someone who is working a day job and can only come in the evenings. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually end up during breaks. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. People usually find us because they live nearby or their cousin took a course here last year. It’s a bit informal. We sit around the table and just go through the lessons. We try to make sure everyone understands before we move on to the next thing. It’s a simple way to help people get ahead a little bit in their careers. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’re quite comfortable with how things are run. No need for anything fancy when you're just trying to learn.
