Mie Academy

Mie Academy is over in Arera Colony in Bhopal. We have our space at E-5/20, right in the middle of Bittan Market. If you know Bhopal, you know Bittan Market is always buzzing with people shopping for vegetables or clothes. It makes our location quite easy to find but also a bit loud. We have a few rooms set up for our sessions. The furniture is nothing special, just some sturdy tables and plastic chairs that we’ve had for a while. We keep a water cooler in the corner because it gets very hot in the afternoons. Our staff is small, just a few of us who manage everything from the cleaning to the teaching. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just put a board outside and wait for people to walk in. Often, students come in after spending time at the market. It feels very much like a part of the local scene here. We have some shelves packed with textbooks and old notes that anyone can use. The walls are a bit plain, but they do the job. We spend our days answering phones and explaining our schedules to whoever drops by. It is just a straightforward, no-nonsense place to study. We like being in Arera Colony because it’s a nice part of town, even with the market crowds right on our doorstep and all the noise that comes with it.
