Guru Kripa Education Centre

Guru Kripa Education Centre is located at 866, Hari Om Colony, along Garam Gadda Road in Bhopal. We are tucked away in a residential area, which means it’s a bit quieter than the main roads in the city. The building is basically a converted house, so it has a bit of a homey feel rather than a cold institutional one. We have several rooms that we’ve turned into classrooms with desks and chairs. It’s a modest setup and we don't have a lot of extra space for things like a big playground or a gym. Most of the kids who come here live in Hari Om Colony or nearby. We spend our days teaching the standard subjects and helping students with their homework. The teachers are mostly people from the local community who wanted to work close to home. We don't have a big budget for advertising or new technology, so we stick to the traditional ways of teaching. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to open the windows and keep going. We have a small office area where we keep the registers and talk to parents. It’s a very grounded place. We don't make any big claims about being the best; we just provide a place for kids to learn and grow in a way that’s affordable and close by for the families in this part of Bhopal.
