Krishivalam Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at 73 Badagaon. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find us. It’s just a regular spot in the village where a bunch of us farmers get together to figure out the season’s plan. We don't have any polished brochures or a big sign out front. Most of our work happens on the patches of land we’ve owned for generations. Badagaon is a place where everyone knows what the other person is growing, and we decided to form this group mostly because it's easier to get things done when there are more of us. Sometimes we sit around and talk about the cost of diesel or why the pests are worse this year. It’s practical stuff. We don't spend time on big speeches. We just want to make sure the harvest is enough to pay the bills and keep the families fed. The soil here can be tough if the monsoon is late, so we spend a lot of time watching the sky and hoping for the best. Being part of this company doesn’t change who we are; we are still just the same guys you see at the local market or working the rows at dawn. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It’s a quiet life, mostly, and we like it that way. We just keep moving forward one day at a time at number 73.
