Green Nutrients Farmer Producer Company Limited

Green Nutrients is run out of the home of Beena Gupta and Rakesh Kumar Gupta in Mehmansaha. It’s a residential spot in Abdullaganj, so it feels more like a home than a business. We aren't a big factory with smoke coming out of the top. We're just a group of farmers who wanted to do things differently for a change. We talk a lot about nutrients and how to get the soil back to being healthy like it used to be. Most of our meetings happen in the living room or out on the front step. It’s a bit crowded when all the farmers show up at once to talk. We started this because the old way of buying and selling was leaving us with nothing. Now we have this producer company. It’s a lot of paperwork and government rules, but we try to follow them as best as we can. Rakesh helps out with the logistics when he isn't busy with his own work. We don’t have a website with flashy pictures or anything like that. We just have our names and the work we do. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the local market. We spend our days checking on the fields and talking to the other members about their crops. It's a real community effort. Sometimes we disagree on things and argue a bit, but that's part of being a group. We just want to make sure the food we grow is good and clean. It's a slow process, but we're getting there.
