Farmer Unnati Agro is run from Mr. Gheesilal’s place in Bilquis Ganj. It’s a busy household, and our company operations just sort of fit in around the daily life there. We don't have a big logo on the wall or a reception desk. People just walk in when they have questions about their crops or when they need to drop off some paperwork. Bilquis Ganj is the kind of place where news travels fast, so we don’t need to do much talking about what we do. We are all just trying to make the farming life a bit more stable. Mr. Gheesilal has been here a long time, and he knows everyone. We sit on the porch and discuss things like fertilizer prices or who has a tractor available for hire. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to finish our work by candlelight or just wait until the next morning. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the farmers who are part of our group get a fair deal and that the work gets done right. It’s a lot of long hours and some frustration with the bureaucracy, but we keep at it because it’s our home.
