Over here at Dev Std in Harshwardhan Nagar, Bhopal, things are pretty straightforward. We started this place as a small spot for people to make calls or get little things they needed. Even though times have changed, the shop is still here. We have a lot of small items like pens, notebooks, and mobile recharge cards. It’s a tiny shop, but it serves a purpose for the people walking by. I spend a lot of time sitting on the plastic chair near the counter, watching the traffic go by in Bhopal. The shop has a glass front that gets a bit smudged with fingerprints, but I clean it every now and then. We have a few shelves for snacks and cold drinks too. People usually just pop in for a minute to grab something quick. It’s not a place where people linger for a long time. The walls have some old posters on them, and the flooring is just simple tiles. I’ve lived in this area for most of my life, so I know almost everyone who passes the shop. It’s a decent way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit slow in the afternoons. I don't have any big plans for the place, just want to keep it open and available for the neighbors. It’s just a small, local business that fits into the daily life of the neighborhood.
