Chanakya Study Circle

Chanakya Study Circle is located in the Jahangirabad area of Bhopal. We are tucked into a neighborhood where things are always moving. It’s 462008 for those looking at the postal code. This isn't a big institution with a lot of staff members. It's more of a local spot where students come to get their work done. We have a few tables and chairs set up in a way that makes sense for studying. Some people come here for specific subjects, while others just need a place that isn't their noisy home. Jahangirabad is a lively place, so you can always hear the sounds of the street outside. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. I usually handle the administrative side and some of the teaching myself. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep the doors open through the afternoon and into the evening. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a big exam coming up soon for the college kids. The walls are mostly bare, maybe a calendar or a map here and there. We don't believe in making things look fancy when the work is what matters. It's just a regular study circle. We show up, the students show up, and we get through the material together. That is the daily life here in the Jahangirabad office.
