Astawala Constructions Private Limited runs out of a duplex in Shiva Royal Park. It’s number 67, over in the Salaiya area of Bawadiakala. It feels more like a house than a typical corporate office, which suits us just fine. Being in Bhopal, we see a lot of different types of construction happening. We just stick to our corner and handle our projects. The neighborhood is quiet enough that we can actually get some work done without too much distraction. We have a couple of desks set up in the main room and the kitchen is usually where we have our meetings. It’s a very grounded way to work. We’re not into those high-rise offices in the city center. We like being near the actual sites. Salaiya is developing fast, and we’re right in the middle of it. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around to fit in big sets of drawings. It’s just how it goes. The 462042 area is growing, and we try to keep up. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most of our work comes from people seeing what we've already built. It's practical and straightforward. We wake up, go to the sites, come back here to write down the numbers, and then do it all again the next day. It’s a routine that works for us and the people we build for. This place is where the planning happens before we head out to the dirt.
