We’ve been here in Kath Mandi for quite a while now. If you know Ch. Dadri, you know how busy this part of Bhiwani gets, especially during the peak season when the market is full. Our place is over at Mohan Lala Amit Kumar, right in the thick of things where all the local trade happens every day. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a solid industrial setup where we get the work done. Some of us have been coming here for years, through the hot Haryana summers and the really cold winters. You see the same faces every morning, people coming in to check on their orders or just passing through the mandi for business. We handle the production side of things mostly. It’s noisy and dusty sometimes because that’s just how it is in this line of work. We started small and just kept going because the demand was there. There is always someone hauling stuff or fixing a machine in the back of the building. Life here revolves around the market timing and the trucks coming in. We don’t really spend much time on decorations or looking professional, we just focus on making sure the output is right and the loads get out on time. It is a local business through and through, rooted in this corner of Haryana where everyone knows everyone else’s name. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we manage. That’s just life at Vardhman Industries.
