Bhiwani is where you’ll find our steel pipe division. We are situated at C-13 in New Bharat Nagar. The pin code is 127021. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but the space is good for what we do. We have pipes of all sizes lying around the yard. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. The office is small and usually smells a bit like metal and old paper. We spend our days answering the phone and writing down measurements. Sometimes the guys from the transport company stop by for tea and we talk about the road conditions. The dust from the pipes gets everywhere, so we are always cleaning our glasses. It’s a straightforward job. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just keep our heads down and make sure the pipes go where they are supposed to. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so it gets noisy with all the loading and unloading. But that’s the sound of work getting done, I suppose. We like it here in Bhiwani. It’s a practical location for the steel business and it suits us just fine. We don’t need any fancy office chairs to get the work done correctly. Every day is about the same routine of moving stock.
