If you go down Loharu Road toward Bhagat Singh Circle, you’ll find us. We are Ajay Steel Company, located right in Ward No.10. It’s a dusty part of the world because of all the steel and the heavy trucks moving around every day. We deal with a lot of metal, so the shop is loud and the floors are hard. There is usually a layer of iron dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep up. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Most of the time, we are out near the entrance where the loading and unloading happens. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. Being near the circle means it’s a busy intersection. You hear a lot of horns and people shouting throughout the day. We’ve got a lot of steel rods and sheets stacked up against the walls, and we spend a good part of the day cutting things to size or loading them onto trailers. It’s not the kind of job for someone who likes to stay clean and sit in a chair. We just focus on the task at hand. People from the nearby wards come to us when they are building something or fixing a gate. We don't do any big speeches or try to act like a giant company. We are just a local steel yard on Loharu Road. We take things as they come and try to get the orders out on time without making too much of a fuss.
