S.V.M. Sr. Sec. School

Over here in Kadma, we run S.V.M. Sr. Sec. School. It is located right in the heart of this area of Bhiwani. Most of us grew up around these parts, so we know the families well. The school building has seen a lot of seasons. We have the usual classrooms and a big yard where everyone gathers. Teaching here is pretty straightforward. We follow the books and try to make sure the students understand their lessons. In Bhiwani, the weather can be tough, but the school stays busy regardless. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that work. The desks are wooden and some are a bit old. Every morning there is a bit of a rush at the entrance. Kadma is a small place so news travels fast. If a student is missing, we usually know why before the parents even call. We spend a lot of time on the grounds making sure everything is safe. It’s a lot of responsibility keeping a senior secondary school running. We have teachers who have been with us for years. They know exactly which floorboard creaks. We focus on the daily stuff, like lessons and exams. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s ours. S.V.M. Sr. Sec. School is just part of the landscape here in Kadma now. We keep going day by day and try to keep the roof from leaking when it rains.
