You can find us in Charkhi, over in the Dadri Bhiwani area. We are quite close to the bird sanctuary, which is a nice landmark for people who aren't familiar with our exact spot. It’s a typical Haryana landscape, flat and wide with plenty of dust in the air when the wind picks up. Our office is a simple, no-nonsense place. We don't have any decorative plants or fancy reception desks. It’s all about the cement here. The building has seen some wear and tear over the years, but it serves us well. Most of us come in early before the sun gets too high. We spend the morning checking the stock and talking to the distributors. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger work. Sometimes we walk over toward the sanctuary during our long breaks just to get away from the noise of the trucks for a bit. The local tea seller knows exactly how we like our drinks, and he stops by twice a day. It is a very routine kind of life. We don’t have big corporate meetings; we just stand around the yard and decide what needs to happen next. It’s a practical, hardworking atmosphere. We focus on getting the bags loaded and the trucks sent out. It’s just plain work in a part of the country we know well. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now.
