Mita Thalia Cement Shop

Our shop is easy to spot because we are right near the Radha Swami Satsang Ashram on Rohtak Road. This is in the Devsar area. Being a cement shop means there is always a layer of grey powder on the floor and the shelves. It is just the nature of the business. We have bags of cement stacked high, and moving them is a workout every single day. People coming from Rohtak Road often stop by when they are starting a project. We also get people who are visiting the Ashram and happen to notice us. Devsar is a place where a lot of building is happening, so we stay pretty busy. We don't have any fancy displays or sales pitches. People just come in, tell us how many bags they need, and we help them load up their vehicles. Sometimes the traffic on Rohtak Road is so bad that it takes forever for a delivery to arrive, which can be frustrating for us. We just sit on our stools and wait it out. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place for construction supplies. We know most of the regulars by their faces even if we don't always remember their names. It is just a small local shop trying to provide what the neighbors need for their homes. That is how we spend our days.
