Sitara Bricks

Sitara Bricks is located right at 295 Manga Chowk in Manikya Nagar. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we’ve got here. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of bricks everywhere and probably a lot of red dust on the ground. That’s just how it is when you’re moving this much material. We spend most of our hours outdoors, dealing with the loading and unloading. The chowk is always busy with people coming and going, so there’s never a quiet moment. We’ve got a small area where we handle the money and the paperwork, but most of the real work happens in the yard. It’s manual work, mostly. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and they know the inventory better than anyone. When the weather is good, we’re moving bricks all day long. In the monsoon, things slow down a bit because nobody wants to work in the mud. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just know we’re here at the chowk. We sell to folks building a small extension or to contractors doing bigger jobs. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one where you get what you paid for. It’s a simple life, really. You wake up, you move some bricks, and you talk to the neighbors. Manikya Nagar is a decent place to work.
