The shop is at 149, Vidhut Nagar on Nehru Road in Bhilwara. We have been here for a while now, and the place is usually packed with all sorts of building materials. If you walk in, you will see stacks of tiles, bags of cement, and various fittings everywhere. It is not a fancy showroom; it is more of a working warehouse where things are moving in and out all day long. We spend most of our time helping people figure out how much sand or steel they need for their projects. It gets quite busy in the mornings when the contractors come by to pick up stuff for the day's work. My family runs the place, and we don't really have a hierarchy. Everyone just pitches in to load the trucks or answer the phone. The dust from the cement bags gets on everything, so we are always cleaning up, but it never stays clean for long. We know most of our customers by name because they have been coming to us for years. We don't do any big advertising or have a slick sales pitch. We just tell people what we have in stock and what the price is. It is a simple way of doing business, and it seems to work for us here in Bhilwara. We just try to keep enough stock so that nobody has to wait too long.
