Hariyali Resort

Hariyali Resort is located out on Bundi Road, which is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the heart of the city. Because we are further out, we have a bit more space than the shops in town, and it feels a little more relaxed. We have some trees and open areas around the building, which is probably why it got the name Hariyali. It’s not a fancy hotel or anything like that; it’s more of a place where people stop when they are traveling along the highway or if they want to get away from the crowded streets for an hour or two. The building has been here for a while, so there are some cracks in the pavement and the garden isn’t always perfectly trimmed, but it has a comfortable feel to it. We see a lot of different people, from truck drivers needing a break to families out for a weekend drive. The dining area is simple with sturdy tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just rely on the fact that we are a convenient spot on a long road. Every day is a bit different depending on how many people are traveling on Bundi Road. We just keep the gates open and wait to see who pulls in for a meal or a rest.
