Hotel Raj Inn

Hotel Raj Inn is located right across from the Indian Petrol Pump in Sareri. We sit on the NH-79, so we get a lot of truckers and people driving long distances between cities. It’s a dusty spot out here in the Bhilwara district, but it’s home for us. The hotel is basically a stop for people who are too tired to keep driving. We don't have any fancy lobby or room service like the big hotels in the city. It’s just rooms and a place to park your car or truck safely. We do our own maintenance and try to keep the pipes from leaking. The wind blows pretty hard across the highway sometimes, which brings in a lot of sand. We are constantly cleaning the floors. It’s a simple life out here in Tech Hurda. We know the people at the petrol pump well, and we usually share a tea in the evenings when things slow down. There isn’t much to do around here except work and watch the cars go by. We’ve had this place for some time now and it keeps us busy enough. The rooms are basic, just a bed and a fan, which is usually all people need when they stop. We don’t have any big goals, just to keep the place open and stay honest with our work. It’s a practical spot for a quick rest before getting back on the road tomorrow morning.
