Happy Hours School

Happy Hours School is located right by the railway station road in Raila, Bhilwara. It’s a convenient spot because it’s so close to where everything happens in town. You can see the trains passing by from the upper windows, and the sound of the station is just part of our daily life here. The building for Happy Hours Secondary School is an older one, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of room for all the classes. We’ve got a courtyard in the middle where the students gather for their morning prayers and then head off to their rooms. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything; we just use the ceiling fans and keep the windows open for a breeze. The walls are covered with some drawings the kids did, which makes the place look a bit more colorful. Our staff members are mostly from right here in Raila or nearby villages, so we all know each other. Sometimes the bell rope breaks and we have to fix it quickly, or a desk needs a nail to stop it from wobbling. We don't make big promises or use complicated words. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work teaching the kids. It’s a local school for local people, and we like it that way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the final bell rings in the afternoon.
