Mount Oxford International School

Our school is located out on the Gendliya Jeetya Road, near Eras in the Bhilwara area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, out where things are a little more open and quiet. The address is quite a mouthful with all the local names like Govindsingh Ji Ka Khera, but once you get here, it's hard to miss. We have a fair amount of space out here compared to schools in the middle of town. The building stands out against the flat landscape. It’s a place where we get a lot of students from the surrounding villages and the town itself. The wind blows pretty hard across the fields sometimes, and you can definitely feel it in the classrooms. We have a lot of rooms to keep track of and the hallways are quite long. It’s not a fancy city school with glass walls and carpets; it’s more of a solid, practical building meant for daily use. We have a playground that the kids love, even if it gets a bit dusty during the dry season. The staff mostly comes in by bus or bike every morning from Bhilwara. We spend a lot of time making sure the kids are actually focusing on their studies. It’s a long day for everyone, especially with the travel involved for some. We don't have any big corporate backing, just the local community and the families who have been with us for years.
