Siddhartha Global Academy

Siddhartha Global Academy is located out on Bhilwara Road in Asind. If you are driving from Bhilwara, you can’t miss us. The road is often quite busy with trucks and buses passing through, so there is always a bit of dust in the air. We spend a lot of time sweeping the front steps to keep the place looking decent. It’s a big enough building for the kids here in this part of Rajasthan. Inside, the rooms are fairly basic with wooden desks and blackboards. We don’t have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in city schools, but we make do with what we have. The teachers usually gather in the small staff room during the lunch hour to share their meals and talk about the day. It gets very hot in the summer months, so the fans are always humming in the background. We have a bit of open space where the students play when it isn't too sunny. Sometimes the cows from the nearby farms wander close to the gate, and we have to shoo them away. It’s a quiet life here mostly, aside from the traffic on the main road. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the children are behaving themselves. Nothing too complicated happens here, just the usual routine of morning prayers, classes, and then everyone heading home when the final bell rings at three in the afternoon.
