Our college is located in Asind, which is part of the Bhilwara district in Rajasthan. We are right in the town, not far from the post office. The building is a typical Rajasthan structure, built to stay as cool as possible during the very hot summers we get here. It’s a dusty area, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time dusting the desks and shelves. We have a good number of classrooms and a central area where people gather. Most of us working here are from Asind or the nearby villages, so we are all very familiar with each other. The daily routine is pretty set: we open up early, get the classes started, and handle whatever administrative tasks come up. There’s always someone coming in with a question or needing a form signed. We don't have a big corporate setup; it’s more of a local operation. We use simple furniture and basic equipment to get things done. The walk to the college takes you through some narrow streets with small shops and neighbors sitting outside. We often see our students at the local tea stalls or in the market after hours. It’s a quiet life in many ways, just focusing on the work at hand. We don't have any big slogans or fancy promises. We just keep the doors open and make sure the place is ready for whoever comes in. The clock in the main hall ticks quite loudly, but we are used to it now.
