Jaypee Cements Ltd.

Our office is over at the BST Premises in Sector 4, Durg, right near the MOH. Jaypee Cements Ltd. has been operating from this location for quite a while now. Durg is a busy place, and Sector 4 is no exception. We have a lot of people coming by, mostly contractors and local builders. The space we have is more about function than anything else. We’ve got stacks of cement everywhere and the floors are always a bit grey. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, especially when several shipments arrive at the same time. The staff here are all locals, so we spend a lot of time chatting about things happening in the city. We don't have a big corporate feel at all. It’s more like a workshop where everyone knows what to do. The phone is usually ringing with people asking about prices or delivery times. We try to keep it simple and just give them straight answers. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to tell people to wait, which isn't great, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We’ve got a small area where we sit and have our lunch, usually talking about family or the weather. We aren't looking to change much about how we operate. It works for us and the people we serve. We just keep our heads down and do the work as it comes.
