Acc Jamul Cement Works

Acc Jamul Cement Works is located out on N.H.- 6 in Bhilai. Being in the Durg district, we are surrounded by a lot of industrial activity. The highway is always humming with the sound of heavy trucks passing by at all hours. It’s a dusty spot, given the nature of the area and the road. The facility itself is big and looks like a typical industrial site. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any art on the walls. It’s mostly metal, concrete, and functional spaces. The sun beats down pretty hard on the open areas here. We all wear sturdy boots because the ground is rough. The office part is just some air-conditioned rooms where we keep the records. It’s a long drive from the main city, so we usually bring our lunch. Acc Jamul Cement Works has been a part of this landscape for quite some time. We see the same truck drivers every week. There’s a routine to it that never really changes. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. It’s just labor and logistics. The shift changes are the busiest times. We try to keep things organized, but in a place this big, there’s always something that needs fixing. It’s just the reality of working near Bhilai on the highway. We just get through the work as best as we can every day.
