Patel Trading Co.

Our office is right opposite the Vardhman Co-Op Bank in the Khargate area. It’s a very busy part of town, and having the bank across the street makes it easy for people to find us. Patel Trading Co. is a pretty basic operation. We have a couple of old wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We spend most of our time dealing with goods and moving stock around. The office is often filled with samples of whatever we are trading at the moment. It’s not very tidy, but we know where everything is. Khargate is always loud with the sound of horns and people in the market, and that noise comes right through our front door. We’ve been here for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. We don’t use any fancy technology, just the basics to keep our accounts in order. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic while we wait for a delivery. It’s a straightforward way to live and work. We don't have a big corporate structure or any polished brochures. We just talk to our suppliers, handle the trades, and go home at the end of the day. It’s a bit dusty and the heat can be a lot in the afternoons, but it’s our place. It is a simple trading company that has been part of this market for years.
