If you are looking for us, we are situated over on Kps School Road, sharing space with the Vaghela Mandap Service. It is a bit of an unusual spot because you have the wedding tents and decorations on one side and then our chemical supplies on the other. Kaliyabid is a lively area, especially when school is letting out and the road gets clogged with parents and rickshaws. We spend our days handling containers and making sure everything is labeled properly in the back. It’s a lot of inventory work. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the mandap gear being moved around for local events, but we make it work somehow. We started out here because it’s a familiar neighborhood for us. The walls are a little scuffed from moving heavy barrels, and the office chair squeaks every time someone sits down. It isn't some corporate office with glass walls; it is just a practical place where we keep our stock and talk to our customers. Most of the people who come by are locals or regular buyers who know exactly where to find us. We keep a ledger on the desk to track things manually because sometimes the computer is just too slow or the power cuts out for a minute. It’s a basic operation. We show up in the morning, handle the logistics, and try to get home before the evening traffic peaks. We usually close up once the street lights come on and the school road finally gets quiet for the night.
