Usha Chemicals

Usha Chemicals is based at Plot No. 200/a. It is a fairly small operation compared to some of the massive plants you see around, but we keep ourselves busy enough. The plot is mostly taken up by storage for the chemicals we handle and the basic equipment we need for mixing or packaging. It’s a very practical space, nothing fancy at all. We have to be quite careful with how we store everything, so a lot of the day is spent checking containers and making sure the labels are right. It’s not the most exciting work, but it is necessary, and we take it seriously in our own way. The air at the plot often has that sharp, clean smell you get around chemicals. We have a few people who have worked here since the beginning, and we’ve all learned to deal with the heat and the routine. We don't spend money on big signs or glossy brochures because people who need us usually already know where Plot 200/a is. We just focus on getting the orders filled and making sure the shipments go out without any leaks or spills. It is just a regular job for us, and we try to do it right every day without making a big deal out of it. We take our lunch breaks together when things are slow and then get back to the barrels.
